My name is Dolan J. Cassone and I am currently a senior at Sport and Medical Sciences Academy in Hartford, CT. I want to pursue either welding school or Criminal Justice while playing football in college. Sports have heavily influenced me throughout my life as I started playing them competitively at a young age starting football around the age of six and baseball at five. Many role models and people who inspire me have come through sports. Knowing that Roberto Clemente has inspired many through baseball or many forms of community service is one reason I wanted to help the celebration of his life as my capstone. My goal as being part of this celebration is to pass on his legacy and hopefully inspire someone to look up to this amazing man. Knowing that I can possibly have a role in being the reason someone had found a person they aspire to be really motivates me in knowing that there can be more Clemente’s in the world.
