My paper connects to my project by talking about Roberto and not only the kind of baseball player he was but also the person he was. Clemente was an influence on many current and past MLB players for his role in continuing the change of discriminations in the MLB. Many people looked up at him in the way of him and his role in charity work .From hosting clinics for the youth free of any charge to donating money to the less privileged in many Latin American countries, Clemente was seen as a very generous man(Diamond, 2014). Celebrating him isn't only about him as a baseball player it's about him as a person.
